The Blood of Dawnwalker is the debut game from independent studio Rebel Wolves, led by industry veterans. The project offers an uncompromising, mature and dark adventure where elements of classic dark fantasy are intertwined with innovative gameplay mechanics.
14th century Europe is torn by war, and the survivors are mowed down by the Black Death. At this moment of humanity's weakness, vampires emerge from the shadows, ready to stake their claim to power. The main character Cohen finds himself hostage to two worlds. Becoming a "Daywalker", he is forced to wage a war of attrition against the vampire cult of Vrahkir, knowing that time is running out mercilessly.
Key Features:
The cost of each day:The game is based on a strict time limit - you have exactly30 days and nightsto prepare and take the fight to the ancient vampire Prince Brancis. Any task, rest, or forging equipment moves time forward. You will have to choose who to help and who to leave to die, because it is physically impossible to do everything.
Two entities - one hero:The gameplay changes radically depending on the time of day. By day, Koen relies on swordsmanship and powerful magic. At night, his vampire blood awakens, granting supernatural strength, superhuman speed and the ability to literally defy gravity.
Living Ecosystem of Enemies:The game features an advanced counter system (reminiscent of Nemesis). By destroying outposts or disrupting the supply lines of the vampire cult, you will enrage Prince Brancis' lieutenants. They will begin to adapt, hunt you and change their tactics.
Fascinating open world:Thanks to the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, medieval Europe looks frighteningly realistic. Explore dense foggy forests, impenetrable swamps, mountain peaks and abandoned ruins of ancient civilizations in search of allies and crafting recipes.
A story without compromise:The end of the timer on the 30th day is not a banal Game Over. The plot will continue in any case, but exactly how you spent this month will lead to colossal and unexpected consequences for the ending of the entire story.
