CROSSWORD 5.00

Version 5.00 of CROSSWORD removes a restriction of about 5 meters on the size of symbols of alphabet-font, which acts in previous versions (below 5.00) of program. Now only the RAM of the computer imposes restrictions. The size of file of alphabet-font in version 5.00 of the program depends on the size of the characters and for most cases will be less than in previous versions. But now to use the 5.00 version of font-alphabet in the previous versions of the program it must be modified (converted). Converting of files of fonts-alphabets and crossword data files between new and old versions of program (in both directions) are carried out using item 26 of configuration menu of the program. Item 26 of configuration menu of the program becomes available after selecting the font file (item A of main menu of the program), created earlier by any version of the program. Files of fonts-alphabets or crossword data, created by previous versions of the program, can be used in version 5.00 (4.00 and higher for files of crossword data) without modifi- cation (compatibility from down to up). But you can convert files of fonts- alphabets or crossword data from the old versions of the program to new ones to reduce their size. In the future, technology will allow to organize, using the CROSSWORD program, sport events of the scale of the Universe: Intergalactic tournaments for solving of crosswords with the help of a huge display in Space with remote control from New-Vasyuky. Or for mass events of a more modest scale (Earth, cities and so on).
