Welcome to Onslaught, the first downloadable add-on for Call of Duty®: Ghosts. These include 4 unique maps for online play, a new weapon - a hybrid of a sniper rifle and an assault rifle - and the first of four campaign parts for the Extinction mode. Complementing the great, intense multiplayer that players love so much, Onslaught will add 4 maps made in the best tradition of the Call of Duty® series, each with its own unique look and playstyle. Fog (Washington, USA): A dark, sinister camp next to a fog-shrouded lake, in the style of classic horror films. Fog also keeps a terrible secret... BayView (California, USA): Located on the California coast, BayView is a small map for an active play style. Beware of shelling from a destroyer in coastal waters. Containment (Mexico): A small map set along a dry riverbed in a ruined Mexican village. In the center of the map is a small bridge with a truck that is leaking radioactive waste. Ignition (Florida, USA): Based on Scrapyard, a beloved map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, players will have to fight on an old launch complex in Florida. Also, Onslaught will replenish the arsenal of players with a new Maverick weapon - a hybrid of an assault rifle and a sniper rifle. Equipped with a lightweight wooden stock and an electronic display, the Maverick can be used as an assault rifle or a sniper rifle, depending on the player´s needs. In automatic mode, it shoots in full automatic mode and has quite high damage. In sniper rifle mode, the Maverick is equipped with a telescopic sight and fires in semi-automatic mode. Episode 1: Nightfall is the first of four Extinction Campaigns. At a research base somewhere in Alaska, scientists are trying to find out about the origin of aliens as part of the mysterious Twilight Program. When scientists lose control of the process, a small elite squad must take the data and destroy the hordes of hostile creatures and defeat the unprecedented giant monster. Episode 1: Nightfall will feature two new alien species and exclusive weapons.
