Remains of the Day Kazuo Ishiguro

"Remains of the Day" (eng. The Remains of the Day) - the third novel by British author Kazuo Ishiguro, Japanese origin, published in 1989. He was awarded the Booker Prize. According to the book, movie filmed, starring Anthony Hopkins which sang and Emma Thompson. As in other works Ishiguro, the narrative in the novel is carried out in the first person: the main character, the butler Stevens remembers the events of his past, while at the same time talking about the present.
