Target 17: The prosecutor asked the Sverdlovsk region Sverdlovsk regional court to invalidate (not valid) Decree of the Head of the municipal formation "City of Yekaterinburg" from January 23, 2002 №74 dated February 1, 2002, which was changed the size of the fare in the city passenger transport (bus, tram, trolley, subway). In a statement, the prosecutor said that he contested the position of said legal act adopted by an abuse of authority of local governments to violate the general principles of organization of local self-government, the rights of citizens and not consistent with the Constitution of the Sverdlovsk region. Sverdlovsk regional court returned the application specified in the definition of that business it has no jurisdiction, and suggested to the prosecutor to apply to the authorized court of the Sverdlovsk region.
