In Trine 4: Melody of Mystery, trouble is brewing at Astral Academy once again. All of the students are cursed, trapped in an enchanted sleep, unable to wake up. With a mysterious spirit on the loose, accidentally released by the kind and simple-minded Cornelius Crownstead, it´s best to call upon the Heroes of Trine to see what they can do to bring Cornelius and his fellow students back from their alluring dreams. With her talents, she can make them come true in the dream worlds she creates. When Cornelius, a student at Astral Academy, stumbles upon Melody´s music box and opens it, he frees Melody, who decides to create fantastical new dreams for all the students at the Academy. Luckily, one student can escape the curse and summon the Heroes of Trine to set things right. The heroes must traverse the dreamscapes of Astral Academy, lush and verdant pirate adventures, face the night in the icy tundra, take an ominous path through an old haunted forest, survive the surreal world inside the clockwork mind of a mechanical owl, and finally solve all the mysteries in the deceptively cozy manor of Cornelius Crownstead. Familiar Faces from Nine Parchments In addition to the familiar faces of Heroes of Trine, Melody of Mystery reintroduces many fan-favorite characters from Nine Parchments, a spin-off of the Trine universe dedicated to the students of Astral Academy. Cornelius isn´t the only student under Melody´s spell - Karabel, Gislan, Rodolphus, and Owl all dream of enchanted fantasies.
