Hello, gamers! The calendar says May 13, 2026, and today can officially be declared Assassin Day. We have just a ton of news on the Assassin's Creed franchise here - from long-awaited dates to completely wild leaks. Sit back comfortably, now we’ll sort everything out.
Is Ezio coming back? Loud leak of Assassin's Creed Hexe
Let's start with what the entire community is currently discussing - a large-scale leak of Assassin's Creed Hexe. We already knew that the action would take place in Germany in the 16th century (the city of Würzburg), but fresh details make our hearts beat faster.
The main news: the legendary Ezio Auditore is returning to the series! True, they won’t let you play as him - it is reported that he will become a “mentor” for a new heroine named Anika and will guide her through the plot.
As for the gameplay, Hexe is preparing something unusual for us:
Forest setting:The main emphasis is on dense forests.
The magic of alchemy: Instead of the usual gadgets - alchemical mixtures. Players will be able to use them to manipulate enemies and the environment. It looks like the series is finally entering the territory of “supernatural” stealth.
Release date and details of Black Flag Resynced
If the Hexe leak isn’t enough for you, here’s the official announcement from Ubisoft: a remake of the cult pirate adventure, called Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, will be released on July 9, 2026 year. The release will take place on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
And these are not just smart textures! The developers promise:
1. Complete map rework:The world was rebuilt using the latest version of the engine. The islands have become more detailed, and the exploration of the underwater world has become much deeper.
2. Updated gameplay:Combat and stealth systems have been completely modernized.
3. Story additions:New missions will be built into the game and cut scenes will be re-recorded to better connect the story of Edward Kenway with the modern lore of the universe.
