Here is your practical roundup of free game giveaways, live-service events, and hardware updates for PC and console players on October 22, 2026 (times listed in UTC+3 / Minsk & Moscow time). Below we break down how to claim up to four free titles on the Epic Games Store today, prepare for the Thanos PvE raid in Marvel Rivals, and make the most of NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 621.01.
1. Epic Games Store: Claim Two Outgoing Titles Before 18:00 UTC+3 and Grab the New Lineup
Today, October 22 at 18:00 (UTC+3), the Epic Games Store rotates its weekly free games lineup. By timing your visits before and after the turnover, you can secure four games for free in a single day:
Until 18:00 UTC+3 on October 22: Last chance to claim the spy puzzle adventure Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise and the psychological horror title Bad Cheese.
From 18:00 UTC+3 on October 22 until October 29: Pick up the wave-based co-op survival shooter Sker Ritual and the atmospheric pixel-art horror adventure Home — A Unique Horror Adventure (PC Gamer giveaway tracker).
Pro tip for Sker Ritual: In four-player co-op, avoid spending all your currency between early waves—save a buffer for weapon tier upgrades and synergize your Miracles buffs before elite waves spawn.
2. Marvel Rivals: Patch 20261022, Avengers: Endgame Rewards, and Thanos PvE Schedule
According to the official October 21 patch notes (build 20261022) for Marvel Rivals, the update goes live on October 22 at 12:00 (UTC+3) with zero server downtime. The Times Square social hub features new Avengers: Endgame activities:
Exclusive Gallery Card: Watch the Endgame footage on the main Times Square screen for two continuous minutes.
100 Free Units: Take a group photo at the special photo spot near the Avengers’ Gift Shop.
Path to Doomsday: Avengers: Endgame (50-Player PvE Mode): The battle against Thanos and his army officially opens on October 24, with initial windows running from 04:00 to 06:00 and 21:00 to 23:00 (UTC+3). Participating in the event unlocks a free Captain America costume inspired by The Winter Soldier.
3. NVIDIA Driver 621.01 & Advanced Shader Delivery: Faster Game Launches
NVIDIA has released GeForce Game Ready Driver 621.01 introducing support for Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery (ASD) (The Verge analysis). For compatible titles, ASD downloads pre-compiled shader packages tailored to your GPU via the Xbox PC app during installation.
Supported Titles & Updates: Highlighted examples include Gears of War: E-Day and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, alongside an October 22 update for Cyberpunk 2077 featuring expanded DLSS 4.5 support.
What to Expect: ASD targets Windows 11 and DirectX 12 titles delivered via the Xbox PC app, cutting long first-boot shader compilation screens and smoothing out shader-related frametime spikes rather than boosting raw average FPS. Check the official 621.01 feedback thread before updating.
4. Amazon Luna / Games with Prime: Two New Free Games on October 22
Per the October Games with Prime schedule, Amazon Prime members can claim two additional titles today via Amazon Luna — Claim Games:
Ad Infinitum — a World War I psychological horror adventure (redeemed via Epic Games Store account linking).
Time Travel: Escape Room Game — a puzzle adventure (redeemed via a Legacy Games code).
Once redeemed on their respective storefronts, both games remain permanently in your library. Use headphones and calibrate your brightness settings before diving into Ad Infinitum's dark trenches.
5. PlanetSide 2: Double XP (2x XP) and Up to 60% Off Gear
Following its October 22 update, the massive sci-fi MMOFPS PlanetSide 2 (official media gallery) is running a special event from October 22 through November 2 (server time) (October 22 patch notes):
Double XP (2× XP) across all servers—ideal for leveling a main class or alt characters by focusing on squad objectives and base captures.
