EVO France Showstopper: Roger Jr. Returns to Tekken 8
Today, on October 11, 2026, during the EVO France 2026 championship stage, Bandai Namco officially revealed the full gameplay trailer for Tekken 8's next DLC character: the legendary boxing kangaroo, Roger Jr.
Absent from Tekken 7, the fan-favorite combatant returns rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, fully integrated into the aggressive Heat System with high-impact tail sweeps, lunging straights, and devastating maternal counter-throws.
"Roger Jr. represents the vibrant personality of the franchise. In Tekken 8, his kinetic boxing style delivers both comedic flair and lethal high-rank frame advantages," stated the Project TEKKEN design group.
