The Sims 4 Deploys "Order Up!" Quality of Life Patch: Restaurant Fixes & Body Weight Lock
Electronic Arts and Maxis have released the major October quality-of-life update for life simulation flagship The Sims 4, titled "Order Up!". The patch tackles longstanding restaurant pathfinding complaints and introduces highly anticipated aesthetic toggles.
Key Update Highlights:
Comprehensive Dine Out Overhaul: over 25 behavioral fixes ensuring customer Sims remain seated and enjoy their meals rather than wandering away to jog or tidy trash.
Static Muscle & Weight Toggle: a brand-new setting allowing players to permanently lock a Sim's physique, preventing unintended metabolic body morphing from fitness or meals.
Streamlined Kitchen Interactions: one-click refrigerator menus and a standardized pricing/calorie balance pass across all DLC packs.
Free Elder Asset Pack: exclusive styling garments, hairstyles, and Build Mode furniture tailored for elder life stages.
"Our focus with 'Order Up!' is restoring seamless restaurant hospitality while granting storytellers full command over their Sims' lasting visual identities," stated the Maxis development team.
